Winter Solstice - FullMoon - Lunar Eclipse

Tuesday: December 21st 2010

Lunar Eclipse...

A space to unveil new potentials

exploring another dimension

unveiling the access to the universal dharma.

"A total lunar eclipse will take place on December 20/21, 2010. This is the first total lunar eclipse in three years, and the first such eclipse corresponding to the winter solstice in 372 years (since 21 December 1638). The eclipse starts at 1:37AM (Miami Time) and last for 72 minutes.
It will be the first total lunar eclipse in nearly 3 years.

It is also called the Christmas lunar eclipse. It will be the first total lunar eclipse to occur on the day of the Winter Solstice since 1638, and only the second in the Common Era."

Winter Solstice..

The shortest day of the year (northern hemisfere)

a time to honor the cycle of transformation

awakening the light from within.

"The winter solstice occurs exactly when the Earth's axial tilt is farthest away from the sun. Though the winter solstice lasts only a moment in time, the term is also a turning point to midwinter or the first day of winter to refer to the day on which it occurs. More evident to those in high latitudes, this occurs on the shortest day, and longest night, and the sun's daily maximum position in the sky is the lowest. The seasonal significance of the winter solstice is in the reversal of the gradual lengthening of nights and shortening of days. The 2010 winter solstice will occur on December 21, at 6:38 pm EST.

Worldwide, interpretation of the event has varied from culture to culture, but most cultures have held a recognition of rebirth, involving holidays, festivals, gatherings, rituals or other celebrations around that time."

FullMoon...

A time for alignment

between the conscious and subconscious mind

embracing clarity & allowing the expression.

"Full moon is a lunar phase that occurs when the Moon is on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun. More precisely, a full moon occurs when the geocentric apparent longitudes of the Sun and Moon differ by 180 degrees; the Moon is then in opposition with the Sun."

I suggest you to take a moment on that special day to meditate:

- observe the vibration in which you are at this time of your life on 2 different levels:

1) How do you express yourself

2) Who you really are, when you connect to your heart

- connect to, visualize & empower the vibration that comes from your core - heart center.

- write down:

. 5 of your main gifts, potentials

. 5 of the main experiences you are thankful for

. 5 of your main values

. what is your main intention

. 5 of your main dreams, visions, that are aligned with the previous answers.

- Meditate for few minutes to align your vibration & vision, to integrate your insight within and around you.

We are doing a special ceremony on that day, and if you have a specific request for a prayer, don't hesitate to send it to: community@dharmi.com
