Winter Solstice - FullMoon - Lunar Eclipse

Tuesday: December 21st 2010

Lunar Eclipse...

A space to unveil new potentials

exploring another dimension

unveiling the access to the universal dharma.

"A total lunar eclipse will take place on December 20/21, 2010. This is the first total lunar eclipse in three years, and the first such eclipse corresponding to the winter solstice in 372 years (since 21 December 1638). The eclipse starts at 1:37AM (Miami Time) and last for 72 minutes.
It will be the first total lunar eclipse in nearly 3 years.

It is also called the Christmas lunar eclipse. It will be the first total lunar eclipse to occur on the day of the Winter Solstice since 1638, and only the second in the Common Era."

~~~
Winter Solstice..
The shortest day of the year (northern hemisfere)
a time to honor the cycle of transformation
awakening the light from within.
"The winter solstice occurs exactly when the Earth's axial tilt is farthest away from the sun. Though the winter solstice lasts only a moment in time, the term is also a turning point to midwinter or the first day of winter to refer to the day on which it occurs. More evident to those in high latitudes, this occurs on the shortest day, and longest night, and the sun's daily maximum position in the sky is the lowest.The seasonal significance of the winter solstice is in the reversal of the gradual lengthening of nights and shortening of days. The 2010 winter solstice will occur on December 21, at 6:38 pm EST.
Worldwide, interpretation of the event has varied from culture to culture, but most cultures have held a recognition of rebirth, involving holidays, festivals, gatherings, rituals or other celebrations around that time."
~~~

FullMoon...

A time for alignment

between the conscious and subconscious mind

embracing clarity & allowing the expression.

"Full moon is a lunar phase that occurs when the Moon is on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun. More precisely, a full moon occurs when the geocentric apparent longitudes of the Sun and Moon differ by 180 degrees; the Moon is then in opposition with the Sun."

~~~
I suggest you to take a moment on that special day to meditate:
- observe the vibration in which you are at this time of your life on 2 different levels:
1) How do you express yourself
2) Who you really are, when you connect to your heart
- connect to, visualize & empower the vibration that comes from your core - heart center.
- write down:
. 5 of your main gifts, potentials
. 5 of the main experiences you are thankful for
. 5 of your main values
. what is your main intention
. 5 of your main dreams, visions, that are aligned with the previous answers.
- Meditate for few minutes to align your vibration & vision, to integrate your insight within and around you.
We are doing a special ceremony on that day, and if you have a specific request for a prayer, don't hesitate to send it to: community@dharmi.com
Yet, let's experience the end of the year a "new" way:
          "Fly around time, within time, above time."
December:
DharmiTM - Mandalas
Mandala is a Sanskrit word that means "circle."
In common use, a Mandala has become a generic term for any plan, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically, a microcosm of the Universe from the human perspective...
Flower-Mandala
Mandalas are used to practice the DHARMI cycle; cycle of connection and alignment.
Mandalas have been used in different traditions they symbolize the life's principles, and affect those who see and visualize them, in enlightening ways.
The DHARMI Program offers 3 Mandala Practices:
A) DHARMI Cycle; personal
B) Cycle of Creativity; personal
C) Mandalas for groups; to empower a specific intention
On Wednesday December 8th, at The Standard, we will realize the personal DHARMI Cycle [A]
During this seminar you will be guided through the DHARMI Cycle while creating a Mandala.
You will receive a basic understanding of the Mandalas, its symbology, and practice the DHARMI Cycle with the mandala:
-       Visualization
-       Meditation & Connection
-       Empowerment of your Intention & Creation
All dancers will take their Mandala home after the seminar; this will assure a continued visualization, to empower and align your intentions.
Cycle of Creativity
In the DHARMI Program you will learn and open the energetical flow in your Cycle of Creativity.
This cycle has been inspired by the holistic foot analysis, from the Grinberg Method, as well as Tantra philosophy.
Have you experienced success without satisfaction?
This means that you haven't experienced the process in completion. Satisfaction comes from a holistic experience, involving all the elements, which brings a sense of contentment.
The Cycle of Creativity is similar to a tantric experience, inviting you to a fulfilling sensation.
The nine steps in the Cycle of Creativity inspires you to shine, liberates your energy, and frees yourself to embrace a direct connection to the divine source.
After a lifetime of fear, I have made peace with the water......I have gone from being afraid to step in the ocean to almost swimming on my own.
About 5 months ago I began the DHARMI program and with excellent guidance and introduction to visualization, meditation and mudras I have been able to work at conquering my fears, both in and out of the water.
The program has helped awaken my inner strength and self-confidence and affirm my determinations more clearly.  It  is teaching me to become stronger both spiritually and physically and to attain a sense of connection to the inner self and the outer world.
I feel blessed to have accomplished this much until today and I am looking forward to continue my journey of learning and practicing the steps of the dharmi dance.
Many thanks,
Rita H.
